I really like the sweeper, but I had to make some adjustments. When I first started using it, the rubber rollers kept falling off. I tried to get help from Bissell, but they were not helpful. I ended up taking one end off each roller and them putt them back on, but not all the in. Now they stay on. They need to make the roller part a bit longer, so the don’t fall offThis is my second one that i have bought in about 10 years. So that being said, it really lasts quite a long time, and if I had just taken care of the other I'm sure it would have lasted longer. Anyways, this old fashioned non-electrical floor sweeper really works. It is simple to use and to put together. Just simply roll it back and forth over the area to be swept and it does its job and it sweeps up small particles.Let's be clear that this is not a vacuum, it is a sweeper, as if you are using a broom and dustpan. it will not suck up things, but it does use little rubber bristles to gently sweep and pick up debris. So it won't do well with super small things, but if you have food crumbs, little bits of paper and dust bunnies, lint and other things that are small that could be swept up.So this thing works great in my acupuncture clinic, as it picks up little pieces of table paper that gets shredded or just lint that gets pulled up from the carpet. I will say just keep vigilant and do a little check to see if you have some hair build up in the bristles, which is gross but necessary to keep it working well. But even if you don't it should last you about 10 years, at least in my case. This is a manual sweeper with rubber "blades" rather than brushes. The blades are a bit like rows of "mini-squeegees" that push the debris up into the collection bins. I haven't ever tried it on a wet floor, but it works well for picking up the leaves from a Chinese Elm and a Willow Oak that my dogs track into the house through their doggie doors. Because it's manual, it also doesn't scare the dogs with lots of noise. It's NOT SILENT, but it's much quieter than a vacuum. It's also much lighter and can be left tucked into a corner rather than having to put it away and drag it out each time. If you prefer to hang it, that's easy with the hole at end of the handle and they are easy to empty, too.I have a variety of these Bissell manual sweepers around the house so there's always one handy in various sections of the house. I have two with brushes and two of these with the rubber rotors. It sure does save my back and my floors stay relatively clean between more-thorough house cleanings.Great thanksworks well getting dust, crumbs and light debris on carpets and hard floors. May need several swipes to get up.,I didn't want to crossthread, so I had to ask someone else to assemble for me, very tight tolerance, which is good, but I only have one good hand. This picks up everything which the exception of sand... On the tile on the carpet on dog mats it's really great. Easy to use, easy to empty and hair doesn't get stuck around the brush.Handle broke less than 2 months in and limited use.Picks up only 60% of debris, the other 40% just get pushed around. Same on my hardwood or carpet. Hair does get tangled in it and is very difficult to remove, even after taking the rolls out. The handle also comes loose and must be re-tightened constantly. For a commercial grade product it really doesn't perform well at all. For these reasons I cannot recommend it, at any price.I use it on carpet and the floor sure does a good job. Beats going for the broom and dust pan for little or big jobs. The wife asked if I wanted to use it I replied “put me in coach I’m ready”.
