My tile was super thick and super tough. I watched so many videos of tiles popping off or crumbling with a sledge hammer. No such luck for me. I was lucky to get them to even crack with the 4lb sledge. This blade had no trouble getting all the way 'round the kitchen and island and still doesn't have obvious wear. Just go slow and steady and take breaks to let it cool down. Directions said every 6 feet but I stopped every couple feet. Obviously inside corners were super tough, I ended up getting a cutoff saw (from Harbor Freight) with diamond blades (Rigid, from HD) to get closer in there.
